- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆I wish to express my gratitude to Gill and Gayle who work in Thompsons Funeral Parlour in the Marion Square. I met both lafies whilst organising my father Bill Hanrahans funeral in October 2016. They are kind, patient and considerate and go that extra mile to help. Thanks girls. Just one thing to note... The box you use to collect donations (we asked for no flowers but a donation to St. Josephs Hospice instead) is not fit for purpose in that many people put their donation in an envelope. The box isnt correct for allowing people to post them through. I received our donation envelopes from mourners at st. Benets parochial club after the funeral. Maybe this should be looked at?
